Using outside sources in academic writing can help make a essay more efficient. It can draw more readers. Mike Bunn works with quotes and paraphrases to help improve his writing and have more people to read his essay.
I want to explain how Mike Bunn techniques help me with my academic writing. Using quotes help me to relate to what my topics is about. This way when people read my essay they will see that my topic can be related to so many other people in the world. Using paraphrases help makes my essay more clearer.

I agree with the point you made here! Usually high school students are taught a certain pattern just to get them started out in writing so to make it more helpful when explaining Mike Bunn's techniques maybe go a little deeper to where they understand it more. Overall what you ae saying is relatable!

ReplyDeleteI agree with the point you made about outside quotes making your essay topic more relatable. I never really thought about it that way until I read this post, but it's a good point. Reader's may see the outside quotes and think to themselves how your topic is universally experienced, making it even more relatable.
